1. About us
This website is run by Rackmere Technology, trading as Rackmere Technology, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 74a Tennyson Road, Birmingham, B10 0EX. You can contact us through our contact page.

2. These terms
These terms apply to every order placed on this website. Business customers are those buying for purposes relating to their trade, business or profession. Consumers are individuals buying wholly or mainly for personal use. Some sections apply differently to consumers, as shown below, and nothing in these terms affects a consumer's statutory rights.

3. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. After you order, we'll email you to confirm we've received it. This email is not acceptance of your order. A contract is formed when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched. We may decline an order, for example if a product is no longer available from our suppliers or there is an obvious pricing error. If we do, we will refund you in full.

4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and are shown on the website. We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices. Delivery charges are shown at checkout. If we find a price was clearly wrong, we'll contact you before dispatch and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. Payment is due in full at the time of ordering, unless we have agreed credit terms with you in writing.

5. Product information
We take care to describe products accurately, but specifications are set by the manufacturer and may change. Images are for illustration only. If a detail is important to how you will use a product, please ask us to confirm it before ordering.

6. Delivery, title and risk
Delivery is covered by our Delivery Information. Dispatch times are estimates. The goods are your responsibility once they are delivered. Ownership passes to you once we have received full payment.

7. Software licences and digital products
Software licences and subscriptions are delivered by email. Each licence runs for the period stated on the product page from the date it is issued, and is subject to the software publisher's own licence terms. Licence keys cannot be returned once they have been sent, unless they are faulty or were supplied in error. Consumers agree to receive the licence straight away and acknowledge that this ends their 14-day right to cancel once delivery has started.

8. Returns and cancellations
Returns are covered by our Returns & Refunds policy. Consumers have a legal right to cancel within 14 days, as explained there.

9. Warranty
Products come with the manufacturer's warranty. The length and terms depend on the manufacturer and model. We'll help you with any warranty claim. For consumers, this is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Business customers: we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order.

Consumers: we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses.

11. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as supplier shortages, courier disruption or extreme weather. If this happens, we'll let you know and you can cancel for a refund of anything not yet delivered.

12. Your information
We use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Consumers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts.
